The Best Rated Treadmills in Every Price Range
The Treadmilldoctor.com lists the
best rated treadmills in
both home and commercial categories. The review rates models in several
categories including: strengths, weaknesses, walking area, power, cushioning,
reliability, noise level, quality, value and warranty. The
treadmill reviews are
listed according to price range, with six categories in home models.
The Proform Frontrunner was
listed best in the under $500 category. This treadmill rated good and average in
almost all categories. It received a below average rating in quality and
reliability; lower priced machines often score below average in reviews of
treadmills. The Epic T 60 was the best rated in the $500 to $1000 price range.
The Epic received good ratings, but does use cheaper parts in some areas, such
as rollers.
The Smooth 7.1 was one of the
better rated models in the under $1500 price range. This treadmill received no
below average ratings. The only problem noted with this folding model is the
large size. It has good stability, which is important in folding treadmills. The
Pacemaster Bronze Basic won the top spot in the next category. The price for
this model is $1700 and received better reviews in nearly every category. The
cushioning and walking area were slightly weak, receiving only an average
rating. The Pacemaster is a sturdy machine, but may not be enough for serious
runners.
Another of Pacemaker’s treadmills is listed in the top place in the $2000 to
$2500 price range. The Pacemaker Gold Elite received excellent or good ratings
in every category. No weaknesses are listed for this or the top treadmill in the
highest price category. The Landice
L7 is rated at the top of this review category. The Landice received
excellent reviews and the only complaint seems to be the high price.
Treadmilldoctor.com rates commercial treadmills in three categories: best
overall, best AC drive and best DC drive commercial treadmills. One of the
better models is the Woodway Mercury. The only problem noted with this machine
is a slight wobble in the console when the user is running hard. The top
reviewed AC drive model is the Stairmaster 2100 LC and the top model in the DC
category is the Cybex Pro Sport. The treadmills in this category range from
$6000 to $8000 in price.
